FDA is going nowhere but down!
As long as the FDA is headed by a man who cares nothing for investigating the dangers of MAP and RU-486, women will continue to be at risk.
A number of key Pro-Life organizations are sending a group letter to President Bush urging him to rescind the nomination of Dr. Andrew von Eschenbach as Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Under Von Eschenbach's acting headship, the FDA
never appeared serious during the approval process about investigating the numerous irregularities surrounding RU-486--most notably the health risks to women.
Once again Von Eschenbach ignored concerns for women’s health and
overstepped his legal authority by moving forward with the disastrous plan to allow adult women to buy the emergency contraceptive Plan B over-the-counter without a prescription. All because his nomination was threatened if he didn't push it through.
