Connecticut's Pro-Life, Pro-Family Candidate List

On Tuesday, November 2, 2010 one of the most important elections in Connecticut 's history will occur. The pro-family cause stands on the cusp of victories the likes of which we have not seen in our state in over twenty years. But anything can happen in this wildly unpredictable year.

For the first time in decades, there are serious pro-life candidates for high office in Connecticut . Some of them have been embraced by their party establishment, while others had to triumph over party apparatchiks who repeatedly sought to undermine them.

Also for the first time ever, we are seeing an evolution in Connecticut 's "pro-choice Republican." These are candidates who we do not endorse that, nevertheless, reached out to us and expressed their support for incremental restrictions on abortion. That is a far cry from the days of Nancy Johnson Republicans—extremist pro-abortion Republicans who never gave an inch.

The following is a list of endorsements made by the FIC Action Committee. More endorsements may be made. Many factors went into our endorsements, including candidate questionnaires, voting record, viability, and leadership on key pro-family issues. We are endorsing candidates for General Assembly and State Constitutional Office in 2010. Because FIC Action Committee is a State PAC, we cannot endorse candidates for Federal office. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT WE DISTRIBUTE THIS LIST TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND VOTE ON NOVEMBER 2ND!
