Homecoming: Healing From Abuse

This moving essay describes the journey of a Catholic who suffered abuse in childhood. Instead of turning his back on the one place where he could find healing and peace, grace urged him forward. How refreshing to see a truly faithful Catholic long for Jesus, and realize that if he turns his back on the Church, he turns his back on the One who can ease his suffering, and receive healing through His Sacraments.
